𝗧𝗼𝗻𝘆 has lived in Sutton for over 30 years and has dedicated his life to public service. He served in the fire brigade, including his final years with Red Watch at Sutton Fire Station, always putting the safety and wellbeing of others first.
First elected in 2002, Tony is one of the most experienced councillors in the borough. He has served on key committees including Planning and Environmental & Sustainable Transport, where he has played a vital role in standing up for residents. From opposing the widely unpopular incinerator proposals to helping stop a KFC development in Cheam, Tony has consistently worked alongside residents to protect the area.
Tony is known for his common-sense approach, his willingness to challenge poor decisions, and his unwavering commitment to residents over politics. His experience is invaluable, and his record speaks for itself.
