𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝘄𝘆𝗲𝗿 has lived in North Cheam for over 25 years and was elected in 2022. He brings a wealth of experience from H.M. Diplomatic Service, representing the UK in countries including Canada, Belize, Poland, Pakistan and the United States, as well as working in the UK on visa services and emergency response.
Since becoming a councillor, Mike has worked closely with residents, community groups and local police to tackle issues such as anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping, and problematic HMOs. He has been a strong advocate for SEND families, supporting parents in securing the right provision for their children. Mike also secured funding for wheelchair-accessible playground equipment at Fairlands Park, helping ensure children of all abilities can play safely. He continues to press the Council to take action on hired e-bikes blocking pavements and being ridden dangerously, and remains committed to holding the Council accountable on enforcement and resident concerns.
