It is with profound sadness that Sutton Conservatives mourn the passing of Matthew Maxwell Scott.
Matthew devoted many years of dedicated service to our Federation, serving as Federation Chairman and twice standing as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Carshalton & Wallington.
He approached politics with optimism, warmth and good humour, bringing people together and earning the respect of all who worked alongside him. He was generous with his time, approachable by nature, and his quiet determination meant things simply got done. Through his leadership and tireless commitment, he helped strengthen our local Conservative movement and supported countless members, candidates and campaigns over many years.
Our heartfelt condolences are with his wife, his sons, and all who knew and loved him. He will be greatly missed.
