Sutton Conservatives are pleased to announce that Maria Arif has been selected to fight the forthcoming by-election in Sutton Central on 10th April.
Maria is a local businesswoman and lives in Sutton with her husband and children.
Maria's local priorities are to scrutinise the Lib Dems on their waste of taxpayers money on pet projects in the High Street and across the borough, to challenge overdevelopment without guarantees of appropriate infrastructure and to lobby for improved transport links and police presence in the town centre.
As the Lib Dems have abandoned Sutton Central residents, Maria will step in to be the active voice of the ward.
Residents in Sutton Central have a clear choice on 10th April, voting for more of the same with the Lib Dems and a councillor who will be happy to take generous allowances without being your voice, or choosing in Maria Arif a committed and dedicated local representative for you.
