Celebrating Holi

Sutton Conservatives joined the local Hindu community today to celebrate Holi.

Holi is popularly known as the Indian "festival of spring", the "festival of colours", or the "festival of love". The festival signifies the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

Paul Scully MP and Conservative Councillors including Neil Garratt, Holly Ramsey, Catherine Gray, Lily Bande, Tom Drummond and Tim Crowley attended the event, joining in the fun and getting stuck in with the colours!

A massive thank you to everyone for welcoming us and we hope you enjoyed the day.
